Gossip Girl Returns along with the Fashion!

I was very excited this week to be watching the first episode
of Gossip Girl since February. I am a huge fan of the fashion
on this show, and am always excited to see what the girls and
guys will be wearing next.

I can only imagine what the closet of Serena van der Woodsen
would look like. But there is one item in particular that stood out
to me in this past episode. A locket that Serena was wearing.

Blake Lively as socialite Serena van der Woodsen.

During the episode Serena passes the locket on to
her cousin Charlie.

Kaylee Defer as Charlie Rhodes

What was really exciting for me is that I have just
introduced locket and watch pendants to my shop!

Oscar Glam

I haven't blogged about Hollywood fashion in some time, so why not touch on this past
weekend's event. While I didn't get to watch the Oscars this year, I did keep my eye on
the winners as well as the dresses that hit the red carpet. Here is a quick run down
of all the fashion that caught my eye.

Halle Berry looking flawless as always in her Marchesa corset gown. I need to check
out her movie Frankie & Alice soon!

Mila Kunis is on fire with her career, so it only make sense that her dress
would catch as much attention! Her lavender Elie Saab Haute Couture gown
complimented her dark and gorgeous features.

Natalie Portman looked absolutely stunning in her purple Rodarte gown. And pulled it off
effortlessly even with the baby bump!

Gwenyth Paltrow seems to be winning fashion nods across the web and I can
only agree with the critiques. She looked like a bombshell in her Calvin Klein dress.

It's a shame that James Franco didn't walk the red carpet like his co-host Anne Hathaway,
but while on stage the pair did look great (yes I have a small crush on Franco) so I had to include a photo of them.

And last but not least, Jeremy Renner in his YSL tux looking smokin' side by side with
Scarlett Johansson in her Dolce and Gabbana lace dress.

Imagine the day my jewelry is on the red carpet accessorizing the
stars! Now that would be something! Untll then, I'll just keep
rocking my own jewelry to the more casual events, like lectures,
volunteering and group meetings.

Outfits to Remember

While I don't wear clothing fresh off a runway, I do appreciate
when celebrities sport some awesome picks. I may not follow
these celebrities devoutly, but I do keep my eye on their fashion choices.
Here are some of my favourite actresses and their
excellent fashion choices.

Jessica Szohr wearin' Jenny Packham to the MMVA's. The colour of the this
dress calls out to me and all I can reply is YES YES YES! I am very excited to see what
she will be wearing in next seasons Gossip Girl!

Emma Watson displayin' Burberry dress at the Burberry Prorsum’s Spring 2010 show.
I've never been a fan of gold, but I love this dress! I especially appreciate
the zipper detail down the middle of this dress.

Angelina Jolie. Now here is an Actress that doesn't opt for a lot of glam or colour (rather elegance), but she caught the attention of everyone when she wore this strapless Atelier Versace dress for promotion of her new Movie Salt. Those peep-toe heels are extra cute!

Now here's a fashion influencer that has even inspired hairstyles. Victoria Beckham gives business attire an edge.

True Blood fans will recognize Anna Paquin wearing the super sexy Stephen Moyer, I mean... Alexander McQueen dress. I've seen this dress on everyone from Salma Hayek, Naomi Campbell to Kate Moss and I love it on each and every one of them!

I just can't help myself, I have to throw this one in the mix:

This photo reminds me that fall is only a few months away. My favourite season, Emma Watson's outfits make me all shades of envy. Even though this is the Burberry 2009 Fall/Winter Campaign, I crave that scarf and purse in every shade of envy.

While I could probably ramble on all day about stars and the clothes
they wear, I'll end it here for now. I'm off to think about all the clothing
pieces I want to add to my wardrobe!

The Tooth

Takin' a quick peek at the Street Chic fashion from Elle Magazine imagine my
surprise when I came across this cute tie-died dress paired with a tooth necklace.

A common item that I've seen many Aboriginals make, wear and sell I also have my own
version of the look.

Paired with a long onyx necklace

The four colour beads to compliment the bone carved tooth.

And this look in not limited to just women. I make these necklaces intended for men.
No matter how you decide to wear your tooth necklace, rock it in style!
